There was no surprise when 8th ranked New Zealand Breakers (4-9) were defeated on the road by third ranked Perth Wildcats (9-4) 85-75 on Friday. The hosts trailed by 1 point at the halftime before their 33-17 charge in the third quarter, which allowed them to win the game. American guard Bryce Cotton (182-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 24 points and 7 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward John Mooney (206-98, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 17 points and 12 rebounds during the contest. Perth Wildcats' coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
