An interesting game for Cavaliers which hosted in Casey Hume City Broncos. Cavaliers had an easy win 77-45. Cavaliers dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Hume City Broncos' 34. Cavaliers forced 21 Hume City Broncos turnovers and outrebounded them 44-31 including 29 on the defensive glass. Jamaican forward Shereesha Richards (185-93, college: Albany) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 35 points (!!!) and 14 rebounds (on 17-of-20 shooting from the field) for the winners and Taylor Lee chipped in 14 points, 6 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals. At the losing side Sophie Byrnes responded with 10 points and 4 assists and Jessica Azzopardi scored 6 points and 8 rebounds. Hume City Broncos' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Cavaliers will play against Magic in Hawthorn in the next round. Hume City Broncos will play at home against Boomers to get more than just one victory in their record.
