Rather predictable result when fifth ranked Bullets (9-7) rolled over 8th ranked New Zealand Breakers (4-10) in Brisbane 88-67 on Saturday. It was an exceptional evening for the former international center Harrison Froling (211-98, college: Marquette) who led the winners and scored 20 points. The former international center Matt Hodgson (211-91, college: St.Mary's, CA) accounted for 16 points and 10 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Bullets players scored in double figures. Bullets' coach Andrej Lemanis felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. New Zealand guard Tai Webster (193-95, college: Nebraska) came up with 19 points and 5 assists and New Zealand forward Finn Delany (198-95, college: SW Baptist) added 12 points and 10 rebounds respectively for New Zealand Breakers in the defeat. Bullets moved-up to third place, which they share with Illawarra and SE Melbourne. New Zealand Breakers lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with ten games lost. Bullets will meet Illawarra Hawks (#5) in the next round. New Zealand Breakers will play against the league's leader United and hope to secure a win.
