This time Illawarra Hawks used a home court advantage and smashed the opponent from Brisbane 96-72 on Monday night. Illawarra Hawks outrebounded Bullets 54-36 including a 36-25 advantage in defensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Tyler Harvey (194-93, college: EWU) who helped to win the game recording 28 points and naturalized South Sudanese forward Deng Adel (201-97, college: Louisville) who added 11 points, 11 rebounds and 6 assists during the contest. At the losing side international guard Nathan Sobey (190-90, college: Wyoming) responded with 11 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists and the former international center Harrison Froling (211-98, college: Marquette) scored 12 points and 8 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Illawarra Hawks (10-8) moved-up to third place. Loser Bullets dropped to the fifth position with nine games lost.
