An interesting game for Perth Wildcats (15-4) which played road game in Sydney against 4th ranked Kings (10-11). Second ranked Perth Wildcats managed to get a 4-point victory 73-69. American players dominated the game. Guard Bryce Cotton (182-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 23 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists to lead the charge for the winners and forward John Mooney (206-98, college: Notre Dame, agency: Pensack Sports) chipped in 21 points and 10 rebounds during the contest. The best for the losing side was point guard Casper Ware (178-90, college: LBSU) with 20 points and 5 rebounds and forward Jarell Martin (208-94, college: LSU) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds. Four Kings players scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game. Perth Wildcats have an impressive 13-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains second position with 15-4 record behind leader Melbourne. Kings at the other side dropped to the sixth place with 11 games lost. Perth Wildcats will play against Adelaide 36ers (#7) in Findon in the next round where they are favorite. Kings will play at home against the league's leader United and hope to get back on the winning track.
