Regular Season Round 5: Warwick S. - Perth R. 86-52
Date: April 16, 2021
Everything could happen in Perth at the game between two tied teams. Both leader Senators and bottom-ranked Redbacks had identical 0-0 record. This time Senators used a home court advantage and crushed the opponent from Northbridge 86-52 on Friday night. American guard Justin King (196-89, college: TRU) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and forward Caleb Davis (206-95, college: SVSU) chipped in 18 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Senators players scored in double figures. Power forward Louis Timms (206-91, college: WBU) responded with 14 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Tevin Jackson (202-94, college: McNeese St.) scored 11 points. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Senators (1-0) left bottom position moving up to fourth place in League. Loser Redbacks still closes the standings with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
