A very interesting game took place in Marden. It ended with only one-point defeat on the road of 5th ranked South Adelaide Panthers (2-3) to eighth ranked Norwood Flames (2-2) 81-80 in the fight for the sixth place. The best player for the winners was American swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: SVSU) who scored 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Daniel Webber (191-87) chipped in 12 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Four Norwood Flames players scored in double figures. American forward Alexander Starling (198-89, college: BCU) produced a double-double by scoring 30 points and 16 rebounds and Codey Ellison added 14 points and 8 rebounds respectively for the guests. Norwood Flames moved-up to sixth place in League. South Adelaide Panthers at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Norwood Flames' next round opponent will be Eastern Mavericks (#10) in Mt. Barker. South Adelaide Panthers will play on the road against West Adelaide Bearcats in Woodville and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
