Regular Season Round 10: Woodville W. - S.Adelaide P. 86-90

There was an upset when much higher ranked Woodville Warriors (4-2) lost to sixth ranked South Adelaide Panthers (4-3) in Flinders Park 86-90 on Saturday. It was a very good performance for American forward Alexander Starling (198-89, college: BCU) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!) and 20 rebounds. Todd Davies contributed with 19 points and 5 assists for the winners. Guard James Boonstoppel (188-89, college: Mt.Mercy) replied with 23 points, 9 rebounds and 6 assists and American guard Julian Jacobs (193-94, college: USC) added 15 points, 6 rebounds and 12 assists in the effort for Woodville Warriors. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Woodville Warriors' coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. South Adelaide Panthers moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Woodville Warriors dropped to the third position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
