Everything went according to plan when sixth ranked Geelong Supercats (5-1) outplayed at home 16th ranked Tigers (1-7) 90-66 on Saturday. They outrebounded Tigers 51-23 including a 20-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. Point guard Jack MacDonald (183-97, college: Alaska-Anch.) orchestrated the victory by scoring 21 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists. Guard Gabriel Hadley (190-98) contributed with 23 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Forward Felix Von Hofe (196-93, college: EWU) answered with 18 points and 4 assists and Keenan Willie added 10 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Tigers. Tigers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Geelong Supercats moved-up to third place in League. Loser Tigers dropped to the eighteenth position with seven games lost. Geelong Supercats will face league's second-placed Frankston Blues in Seaford in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Tigers will play at home against Spectres (#11) and hope to win that game.
