Very predictable result when tenth ranked Mustangs (3-3) rolled over bottom-ranked Hawks (0-6) in Wollongong 93-61 on Saturday. Mustangs dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Hawks' 28 and made 19-of-25 free shots (76.0 percent) during the game. Mustangs forced 21 Hawks turnovers and outrebounded them 50-21 including a 34-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Daniel Millburn orchestrated the victory by scoring 29 points and 6 rebounds. Jay Cole contributed with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Harry Morris answered with 16 points and point guard Zachary Delaney (167-90) added 9 points and 4 assists in the effort for Hawks. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Mustangs moved-up to eighth place in League. Loser Hawks still closes the standings with six games lost. Mustangs will face Bankstown Bruins (#9) in Condell Park in the next round. Hawks will play on the road against the league's leader Manly Warringah Sea Eagles (#1) and will have a slim chance for a victory.
