There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Suns (0-3) were outleveled by fourth ranked Tigers (3-1) in Kalamunda 103-77 on Sunday. Tigers dominated down low during the game scoring 62 of its points in the paint compared to Suns' 32. Tigers forced 21 Suns turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 28 assists comparing to just 15 passes made by Suns' players. Guard Connor Mincherton (186-1) orchestrated the victory by scoring 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. Naturalized Scottish power forward Michael Vigor (206-90) contributed with a double-double by scoring 14 points, 15 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Five Tigers players scored in double figures. American forward Chris Johnson (201-90, college: UIW) answered with 12 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import power forward Corey Easley (206-83, college: MSU) added 17 points in the effort for Suns. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Tigers maintains fourth place in League with 3-1 record. Loser Suns still closes the standings with three games lost. Tigers will face Cougars (#6) in Hamilton Hill in the next round. Suns will play at home against the league's leader Hawks (#1) and look forward to get finally their first victory.
