Everything went according to plan when first ranked Frankston Blues (8-2) outscored on the road 3rd ranked Geelong Supercats (5-2) 91-72 on Saturday. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Lachlan Barker (179-96) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists and American forward Dillon Stith (201-92, college: St.Vincent) who added 21 points and 13 rebounds during the contest. Frankston Blues' coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was guard Gabriel Hadley (190-98) with 19 points and 8 rebounds and American Isaac Turner (191-92, college: St.Vincent) scored 20 points and 5 rebounds. Four Geelong Supercats players scored in double figures. Frankston Blues maintains first position in League with 8-2 record. Loser Geelong Supercats dropped to the sixth place with two games lost. Frankston Blues will face Kilsyth Cobras (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Geelong Supercats will play against Bandits (#17) in Albury and hope to win that game.
