There was no surprise in Condell Park where 12th ranked Crusaders (1-5) were edged by eighth ranked Bankstown Bruins (4-5) 80-77 on Saturday. However just three-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Bankstown Bruins forced 20 Crusaders turnovers. Worth to mention a great performance of Keanu Reed who helped to win the game recording 24 points and center Nathaniel Musters (208-93, college: Lafayette) who added 17 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists during the contest. Bankstown Bruins' coach used an eleven-player rotation in such tough game. The best for the losing side was Jacob Cracknell with 24 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Oliver Robilliard (188) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Four Crusaders players scored in double figures. Bankstown Bruins maintains eighth position in League with 4-5 record. Loser Crusaders dropped to the thirteenth place with five games lost. Bankstown Bruins will face league's leader Manly Warringah Sea Eagles in Narrabeen in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Crusaders will play at home against Sutherland Sharks (#7) and hope to win that game.
