No shocking result in a game in Seaford where first ranked Frankston Blues (8-2) outleveled 17th ranked Bandits (1-7) 115-80 on Sunday. Frankston Blues made 28-of-31 free shots (90.3 percent) during the game, while Bandits only scored eleven points from the stripe. They outrebounded Bandits 40-26 including 16 on the offensive glass. Frankston Blues looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Bandits' players. Bandits were plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. Worth to mention a great performance of point guard Lachlan Barker (179-96) who helped to win the game recording 19 points and 8 assists and American forward Dillon Stith (201-92, college: St.Vincent) who added 21 points and 5 rebounds (went 7 for 7 at the free throw line) during the contest. Frankston Blues' coach felt very confident that he used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. The best for the losing side was New Zealand swingman Mitchell Dance (192-1) with 15 points and American forward Sharif Watson (198-93, college: ACU) scored 15 points. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. Frankston Blues maintains first position in League with 8-2 record. Loser Bandits keep the seventeenth place with seven games lost. Frankston Blues will face Kilsyth Cobras (#11) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Bandits will play against Geelong Supercats (#6) and hope to win that game.
