Everything went according to plan in Morley where seventh ranked Wanneroo (4-2) outleveled 13th ranked Eagles (1-7) 94-61 on Friday. Wanneroo dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Eagles' 28. Wanneroo forced 21 Eagles turnovers and outrebounded them 53-34 including 19 on the offensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Jonathan Wade fired a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds for the winners. Guard Lochlan Cummings (189-95, college: HIU) chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. Point guard Kieran Berry (183-99) produced 20 points and 5 rebounds and Jarrad Anastasio (199-97) added 5 points and 9 rebounds respectively for lost side. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Wanneroo moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Eagles keep the thirteenth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
