A very interesting game took place in Kalgoorlie. It ended with only one-point home defeat of 6th ranked Giants (3-3) to third ranked Tigers (5-1) 74-73 on Saturday evening. Tigers forced 20 Giants turnovers. Naturalized Scottish power forward Michael Vigor (206-90) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 14 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and guard Connor Mincherton (186-1) accounted for 21 points and 7 rebounds. Four Tigers players scored in double figures. Swingman Julian Pesava (193-95, college: WBU) came up with 16 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists and New Zealand forward Dion Collins (203, college: CSC) added 13 points and 10 rebounds respectively for Giants in the defeat. Tigers moved-up to second place in League. Giants at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
