Regular Season Round 15: Penrith P. - Norths Bears 71-93

There was no surprise in Penrith where 12th ranked Panthers (2-6) were outplayed by fifth ranked Norths Soul Sports Bears (7-3) 93-71 on Sunday. Norths Soul Sports Bears outrebounded Panthers 51-40 including a 37-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. It was a great evening for guard Jayden Hodgson (190-97, college: GVSU) who led his team to a victory scoring 23 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Anatoly Bose helped adding 11 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Five Norths Soul Sports Bears players scored in double figures. Norths Soul Sports Bears' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players saving starting five for next games. The best for the losing side was guard Benjamin Kearins (188, agency: BIG) with 36 points (!!!) and 8 rebounds and Joshua Kalwy scored 8 points and 9 rebounds. Norths Soul Sports Bears moved-up to fourth place in League. Loser Panthers dropped to the thirteenth position with six games lost. Norths Soul Sports Bears will have a break next round. Panthers will play at home against Crusaders (#12) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
