Not a big story in a game in Gold Coast where 8th ranked Rollers (3-2) were defeated by fifth ranked Townsville Heat (5-2) 81-75 on Sunday. It was a great evening for guard Ethan Betts (188, college: Umpqua CC) who led his team to a victory scoring 28 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. Center Matthew Rees (205-87) helped adding 14 points and 12 rebounds. The best for the losing side was the former international power forward Anthony Petrie (203-83) with 18 points and 7 rebounds and forward Cameron Goldfinch (201, college: Newman) scored 17 points and 6 rebounds. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Townsville Heat moved-up to second place in League. Loser Rollers dropped to the sixth position with two games lost. Townsville Heat will face Rip City (#9) in Sippy Downs in the next round and are hoping to win another game.
