We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Marden where 4th ranked Woodville Warriors (5-6) were edged by fifth ranked Norwood Flames (5-6) 87-84 on Saturday. Americans were the main players on the court. Center Anthony Green (208-96, college: Northeastern) fired a double-double by scoring 16 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Swingman CJ Turnage (201-95, college: SVSU) chipped in 20 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Julian Jacobs (193-94, college: USC) produced 17 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists and forward Joe Jackson (201, college: IU Southeast) added 16 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Despite that victory Norwood Flames went down to seventh position (League) due to points difference. Norwood Flames will meet league's second-placed Forestville Eagles in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Woodville Warriors will play against North Adelaide Rockets and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
