Everything could happen in Penrith at the game between two tied teams. Both twelfth ranked Crusaders and 13th ranked Panthers had identical 2-7 record. But Panthers were not able to use a home court advantage and were rolled over by the opponent from Terrigal 107-68 on Sunday night. Crusaders dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Panthers' 26. They outrebounded Panthers 37-26 including 26 on the defensive glass. Crusaders looked well-organized offensively handing out 21 assists. Forward James Trustum (192) fired 28 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Jacob Cracknell chipped in 16 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Four Crusaders players scored in double figures. Crusaders' coach felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Guard Benjamin Kearins (188, agency: BIG) produced 19 points, 6 rebounds and 6 assists and naturalized Croatian power forward Goran Veg (205) added 10 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. Crusaders (3-7) moved-up to eleventh place in League. Loser Panthers dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
