There was no surprise when 9th ranked Rollers (3-4) lost to leader Thunder (8-0) in Gold Coast 99-107 on Saturday. American guard Jeremy Kendle (186-88, college: Bellarmine) nailed 31 points, 6 assists and 4 steals for the winning side and forward Mitch Young (206-90, college: St.Mary's, CA) accounted for 22 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international guard Jason Cadee (186-91) came up with a double-double by scoring 24 points and 10 assists and power forward Callum Dalton (207-0) added 25 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Rollers in the defeat. Five Thunder and four Rollers players scored in double figures. Thunder maintains first place in League with 8-0 record. Loser Rollers dropped to the tenth position with four games lost. Thunder will meet at home Cairns Marlins (#6) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Rollers will have a break next round.
