Ballarat Miners outrebounded Tigers 45-26 including a 19-4 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. International guard Matthew Kenyon (195-98) nailed a double-double by scoring 18 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and guard William Hickey (194-99) accounted for 22 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Five Ballarat Miners players scored in double figures. Forward Felix Von Hofe (196-93, college: EWU) came up with 32 points and guard Anthony Karabatsos (188, college: Seton Hill) added 13 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists respectively for Tigers in the defeat.
