The game between closely ranked teams ended with ninth ranked Warriors' (2-10) road victory over bottom-ranked Lions (0-12) 87-55 on Saturday. Warriors dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Lions' 30. Warriors forced 37 Lions turnovers and outrebounded them 47-32 including a 28-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Emily Winter who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 31 points and 15 rebounds and Deanna Troia who added 14 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Four Warriors players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was Samantha Kennett with 14 points and 8 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) and Sarah Deng scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Warriors maintains ninth position in League with 2-10 record. Loser Lions still closes the standings with 12 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
