Very important is a home loss of second ranked Devils (8-4) against fourth ranked Cougars (7-4) on Saturday night. Host Devils were defeated by Cougars in a tough game in Werribee 89-94. Cougars made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. The best player for the winners was Jordan Geer who scored 32 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists (went 13 for 13 at the free throw line !!!). Guard Luke Shelley (188-91, college: KWC) chipped in 21 points. At the other side the best for losing team was Stefan Pomasan who recorded a double-double by scoring 20 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Makur Jongkuch (183) added 19 points and 6 rebounds respectively.
