There was a surprise result in Greenacres where sixth ranked North Adelaide Rockets (6-6) outleveled second-best Forestville Eagles (8-4) 104-80 on Saturday. North Adelaide Rockets made 17-of-20 free shots (85.0 percent) during the game. North Adelaide Rockets outrebounded Forestville Eagles 48-37 including 35 on the defensive glass. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. The best player for the winners was the former international forward Jack McVeigh (203-96, college: Nebraska) who had a double-double by scoring 42 points (!!!) and 10 rebounds. Guard Verle Williams Jr (180-97) chipped in a double-double by scoring 22 points, 10 rebounds and 5 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was Michael Harris who recorded 23 points, 8 rebounds and 9 assists and forward Brandon Brine (198-91, college: Lethbridge) added 17 points and 8 rebounds respectively. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. North Adelaide Rockets moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Forestville Eagles keep the second position with four games lost. North Adelaide Rockets will meet at home league's leader Sturt Sabres in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Forestville Eagles will play against Woodville Warriors and hope to secure a win.
