There was a surprise result when eleventh ranked Ipswich Force (4-4) edged on the road higher ranked Brisbane Capitals (6-4) 90-87 on Sunday. Ipswich Force made 20-of-25 free shots (80.0 percent) during the game. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Ipswich Force made 7 blocks. The best player for the winners was guard Isaac White (188-98, college: CBU) who scored 35 points (!!!), 8 rebounds and 4 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line). Point guard Jason Ralph (178-95, college: VCSU) chipped in 15 points and 7 assists. Ipswich Force's coach allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. At the other side the best for losing team was Nicholas Stoddart (-0) who recorded 19 points and 6 assists and center Ben Volkman (206, college: Maryville, MO) added 16 points and 8 rebounds respectively.
