There was a surprise result in Seaford where ninth ranked Kilsyth Cobras (7-5) won against leader Frankston Blues (11-4) 82-74 on Sunday. It was a great evening for naturalized South Sudanese forward Deng Deng (203-92, college: Baylor) who led his team to a victory scoring 25 points and 8 rebounds. Swingman Benjamin Ursich (196-96, college: Augusta) helped adding 17 points and 10 rebounds (perfect behind the arc making all five shots). At the losing side American forward Dillon Stith (201-92, college: St.Vincent) responded with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 11 rebounds and forward Dan Trist (206-92, college: Lafayette) produced a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Kilsyth Cobras moved-up to seventh place in League. Loser Frankston Blues dropped to the third position with four games lost. Kilsyth Cobras will meet at home Diamond Valley Eagles (#10) in the next round. Frankston Blues will play against Sabres (#18) and hope to secure a win.
