Sturt Sabres looked well-organized offensively handing out 27 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Forestville Eagles' players. The winners were led by guard Joel Spear (192-94, college: S.Oregon) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 22 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists and guard Keanu Rasmussen (185-3) supported him with 32 points. Even 32 points and 9 rebounds by Michael Harris did not help to save the game for Forestville Eagles. Naturalized South Sudanese forward Malith Machar (198, college: Midland CC) added 16 points and 10 rebounds for the guests. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sturt Sabres maintains first position in League with 13-2 record. Loser Forestville Eagles keep the second place with five games lost. Sturt Sabres will meet at home Norwood Flames (#4) in the next round.
