Not a big story in a game when 13th ranked Suns (4-13) lost to sixth ranked Magic (11-6) in Kalamunda 75-85 on Saturday. Magic outrebounded Suns 53-38 including a 44-29 advantage in defensive rebounds. Guard Jerami Grace (190-94, college: Langston) nailed a double-double by scoring 24 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists for the winning side and Brazilian-American guard Scott Machado (186-90, college: Iona) accounted for 19 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists. New Zealand guard Joe Cook-Green (185-97, college: TxWes) came up with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 6 assists and guard Brendan Dinardo (185-95) added 12 points and 7 rebounds respectively for Suns in the defeat. Five Magic and four Suns players scored in double figures. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Magic moved-up to third place in League. Loser Suns keep the thirteenth position with 13 games lost. Magic will meet league's leader Lightning in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Suns will play against Redbacks (#7) and hope to secure a win.
