Rather predictable result when third ranked Townsville Heat (8-3) won against 5th ranked Brisbane Capitals (7-7) in Hermit Park 100-90 on Saturday. Townsville Heat looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Townsville Heat made 10 blocks. Guard Ethan Betts (188, college: Umpqua CC) nailed a double-double by scoring 12 points, 13 rebounds and 7 assists for the winning side and swingman Jalen Patton-Croker (193-99, college: Southeast CC) accounted for 23 points and 6 rebounds. Townsville Heat's coach used entire bench which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
