There was no surprise in Wonthella where 10th ranked Buccaneers (5-12) were outplayed by seventh ranked Senators (11-6) 90-62 on Saturday. Senators dominated down low during the game scoring 50 of its points in the paint compared to Buccaneers' 28. They outrebounded Buccaneers 45-33 including a 34-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Senators looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. Point guard Ethan Elliott (183-4) fired 28 points (on 11-of-13 shooting from the field) for the winners. The former international forward Cody Ellis (202-90, college: St.Louis) chipped in 14 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists. Five Senators players scored in double figures. Naturalized South Sudanese swingman Mathiang Muo (196-87, college: Charleston So.) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 14 rebounds and center William Galvin (200-0) added 4 points and 11 rebounds respectively for lost side. Buccaneers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Senators maintains seventh position in League with 11-6 record. Loser Buccaneers dropped to the eleventh place with 12 games lost. Senators will meet at home higher ranked Tigers (#5) in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Buccaneers will play against Cougars (#9) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
