The game between third ranked Eagles (11-6) and eleventh ranked Suns (5-13) was the most important one in the last round on Friday night. Eagles were defeated by Suns in Morley 72-61. Suns forced 19 Eagles turnovers. Strangely Eagles outrebounded Suns 50-32 including 19 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for guard Jewel Williams (168-1) who led her team to a victory scoring 27 points and 5 assists. Naturalized British forward Samantha Roscoe (190-95, college: N.Dakota) helped adding 16 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side New Zealand forward Mary Goulding (183-96, college: Fordham) responded with a double-double by scoring 29 points and 20 rebounds and forward Eryn Fisher (183, college: UMBC) scored 8 points and 6 rebounds. Eagles' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Suns maintains eleventh place in League with 5-13 record. Eagles at the other side keep the third position with six games lost.
