Regular Season Round 24: Mandurah M. - Lakeside L. 93-74

The most important game in the last round took place in Mandurah between second ranked Lightning (16-5) and fourth ranked Magic (14-7) on Friday night. Lightning was crushed by Magic on the road 93-74. Magic dominated down low during the game scoring 46 of its points in the paint compared to Lightning's 26. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was Brazilian-American guard Scott Machado (186-90, college: Iona) who had a double-double by scoring 12 points, 7 rebounds and 13 assists. Guard Riley Parker (183-3) chipped in 19 points and 5 assists. Four Magic players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American swingman Jay Bowie (196-92, college: Marist) who recorded 22 points and his fellow American import guard Jack Isenbarger (188-91, college: Elon) added 22 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Magic maintains fourth position in League with 14-7 record. Lightning at the other side keeps the second place with five games lost.
