There was a small surprise in Northbridge where eighth ranked Cougars (10-10) smashed 6th ranked Redbacks (13-9) 96-70 on Friday. They outrebounded Redbacks 41-30 including 29 on the defensive glass. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Greek swingman Nic Pozoglou (196-96) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds and swingman Gavin Field (202-89, college: UWG) who added 18 points and 5 assists during the contest. Five Cougars players scored in double figures. The best for the losing side was power forward Louis Timms (206-91, college: WBU) with 23 points and 5 rebounds and naturalized Belgian guard Marshall Nelson (188-94, college: WBU) scored 10 points and 8 rebounds. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Cougars maintains eighth position in League with 10-10 record. Loser Redbacks dropped to the fifth place with nine games lost.
