Rather predictable result in Northbridge where sixth ranked Redbacks (13-9) beat 10th ranked Giants (6-13) 94-79 on Saturday. Redbacks dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Giants' 38. Worth to mention a great performance of naturalized Belgian guard Marshall Nelson (188-94, college: WBU) who helped to win the game recording 27 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Louis Timms (206-91, college: WBU) who added 22 points and 5 rebounds (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) during the contest. The best for the losing side was swingman Jerome Reid (195-96) with 19 points and 6 assists and American swingman Jasper Gibson (190, college: Emmanuel, GA) produced a double-double by scoring 12 points and 14 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Redbacks moved-up to fifth place in League. Loser Giants keep the tenth position with 13 games lost.
