Bottom-ranked New Zealand Breakers is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to ninth ranked JackJumpers (2-4) 84-75. JackJumpers made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 22 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Josh Adams (188-93, college: Wyoming) who helped to win the game recording 21 points and the former international swingman Clint Steindl (200-89, college: St.Mary's, CA) who added 14 points and 5 rebounds during the contest. Four JackJumpers players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Jeremiah Martin (190-96, college: Memphis) responded with 24 points and 8 assists and New Zealand forward Yannick Wetzell (208-96, college: SDSU) produced a double-double by scoring 20 points and 10 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted JackJumpers maintains ninth position with 2-4 record. New Zealand Breakers at the other side still closes the standings with six games lost. JackJumpers will play against higher ranked United (#4) in Melbourne in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. New Zealand Breakers will play on the road against Cairns Taipans (#6) and hope to get finally their first victory.
