Regular Season Round 4: Sydney - Melbourne 68-82

Date: December 26, 2021
Round 4 most important game was a victory of United over one of their biggest challengers Kings 82-68 on Sunday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Kings. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when United made 11 blocks. Worth to mention a great performance of Nigerian-Canadian guard Caleb Agada (196-94, college: Ottawa, agency: Pensack Sports) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 24 points and 14 rebounds. The former international guard Chris Goulding (192-88) contributed with 20 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. American forward Jarell Martin (208-94, college: LSU) replied with 19 points and 8 rebounds and forward Xavier Cooks (203-95, college: Winthrop) added 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Kings. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. United have a solid three-game winning streak. Defending champion (3-2) moved-up to fourth place. Kings at the other side dropped to the fifth position with three games lost. United are looking forward to face JackJumpers (#9) in Hobart in the next round where they are favorite. Kings will play on the road against the league's second-placed Illawarra Hawks (#2) in Gwynneville and are hoping to win this game.
