The game between Top Four teams took place in Gwynneville. 4th ranked host Illawarra Hawks (5-4) lost to second ranked Perth Wildcats (7-2) 94-78. Perth Wildcats made 16-of-18 charity shots (88.9 percent) during the game. The winners were led by American forward Victor Law (201-95, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) who scored that evening 22 points and 7 rebounds and the other American import guard Bryce Cotton (182-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) supported him with 24 points and 4 assists. Even 17 points, 8 rebounds and 4 assists by Canadian guard Xavier Rathan-Mayes (193-94, college: FSU) did not help to save the game for Illawarra Hawks. American guard Justinian Jessup (201-98, college: Boise St.) added 17 points for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Perth Wildcats maintains second position with 7-2 record behind leader Melbourne. Illawarra Hawks at the other side keep the fourth place with four games lost.
