No shocking result in a game when fourth ranked Illawarra Hawks (6-4) smashed on the road 9th ranked Cairns Taipans (2-4) 94-75 on Saturday. American guard Tyler Harvey (194-93, college: EWU) stepped up and scored 24 points for the winners and his fellow American import guard Justinian Jessup (201-98, college: Boise St.) chipped in 17 points and 10 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). The best for the losing side was American guard Tahjere McCall (193-94, college: Tennessee St.) with 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists and power forward Keanu Pinder (205-95, college: Arizona) produced a double-double by scoring 15 points and 10 rebounds.
