Very important is a road loss of second ranked Perth Wildcats (7-3) against fifth ranked Kings (5-6) on Sunday night. Visiting Perth Wildcats were defeated by Kings in Sydney 96-81. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Perth Wildcats. They outrebounded Perth Wildcats 38-27 including 29 on the defensive glass. The game was also dominated by American players. Point guard Jaylen Adams (188-96, college: St.Bonaventure) stepped up and scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 9 assists for the winners and forward Jarell Martin (208-94, college: LSU) chipped in 22 points and 8 rebounds. The best for the losing side was forward Victor Law (201-95, college: Northwestern, agency: Pensack Sports) with 20 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists and guard Bryce Cotton (182-92, college: Providence, agency: Pensack Sports) scored 20 points and 6 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Perth Wildcats' coach rotated ten players and allowed the starting five to rest. Kings maintains fifth place with 5-6 record. Loser Perth Wildcats keep the second position with three games lost. Kings will again meet at home league's second-placed Perth Wildcats in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Perth Wildcats will have a break next round.
