The game between second ranked Canberra Capitals (11-6) and fourth ranked Adelaide Lightning (10-7) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Canberra Capitals were crushed by Adelaide Lightning in Adelaide 81-50. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Adelaide Lightning maintains fourth place with 10-7 record. Canberra Capitals at the other side keep the second position with six games lost. Adelaide Lightning are looking forward to face Bendigo Spirit (#5) at home in the next round.
