The game between second ranked Canberra Capitals (11-6) and fourth ranked Adelaide Lightning (10-7) was the most important one in the last round on Thursday night. Canberra Capitals were crushed by Adelaide Lightning in Adelaide 81-50. Adelaide Lightning held Canberra Capitals to an opponent 24.1 percent shooting from the field compared to 49.2 percent accuracy of the winners.
