A very close game took place in Brisbane between JackJumpers and Bullets. Sixth ranked JackJumpers (12-10) got a very close victory on the road over 7th ranked Bullets (8-14). JackJumpers managed to escape with a 2-point win 84-82 on Saturday evening. The best player for the winners was American point guard Josh Magette (185-1989, college: UAH) who scored 15 points, 5 rebounds and 8 assists. The former international forward Jack McVeigh (203-1996, college: Nebraska) chipped in 15 points. Four JackJumpers players scored in double figures. American forward Robert Franks (203-1996, college: WSU) produced a double-double by scoring 21 points and 12 rebounds (was perfect 8-for-8 from the free throw line) and the other American import swingman Lamar Patterson (196-1991, college: Pittsburgh) added 17 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists respectively for the hosts. Both coaches tested many bench players in such tough game. JackJumpers moved-up to fifth place. Loser Bullets keep the seventh position with 14 games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
