Regular Season Round 4: W.Adelaide B. - C.District L. 95-63

There was a change at the State League leadership position after last games. The most important game of round 4 took place in Woodville between two undefeated teams of League where West Adelaide Bearcats crushed Central District Lions (0-1) 95-63 on Saturday night. West Adelaide Bearcats shot 21 for 33 from the free-throw line, while Central District Lions only scored four points from the stripe. West Adelaide Bearcats had a 34-22 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 23 assists. 24 personal fouls committed by Central District Lions helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. Worth to mention a great performance of Nikolas Desantis who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists and 4 steals and American guard Nate Sheppard (198, college: Malone) who added 28 points and 7 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side American point guard Bijan Johnson (183-1997, college: NM Military) responded with 15 points and 5 rebounds and guard Brodie Nathan scored 10 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. West Adelaide Bearcats (1-0) left bottom position moving up to fourth place in League. Central District Lions at the other side still closes the standings with one game lost. They were replaced at the leadership position by Wyndham D.. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
