Very predictable result in Casey where leader Cavaliers (2-0) outscored bottom-ranked Tigers (0-1) 94-44 on Friday. Cavaliers dominated down low during the game scoring 60 of its points in the paint compared to Tigers' 24. Cavaliers forced 20 Tigers turnovers and outrebounded them 51-35 including 16 on the offensive glass. It was a great evening for forward Louise Brown (189-1995, college: Tennessee) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 15 points and 16 rebounds. American guard Rachel Bell (178, college: Vanderbilt) helped adding 20 points and 9 rebounds. Five Cavaliers players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Hannah Giddey (188, college: ORU) responded with 8 points and 10 rebounds and Zoe Hurley scored 9 points and 6 rebounds. Tigers' coach gave up on the game allowing to play ten players seeing no chance for a win. Cavaliers keep a position of League leader. Loser Tigers still closes the standings with one game lost. Cavaliers will meet Lady Cobras (#12) in the next round which should be another easy win for them. Tigers will have a break next round.
