It was a key game for the top position in League. Sharks outrebounded Manly Warringah Sea Eagles 44-26 including a 31-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. International guard Lauren Nicholson (183-1993, college: St.Mary's, CA) fired 22 points and 7 rebounds for the winners. Forward Courtney West (193, college: Portland St.) chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 15 rebounds. Four Sharks players scored in double figures. Sharks' coach used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Alex Delaney (183-1995, college: SFC) produced 13 points and 8 rebounds and forward Kimberley Hodge (182-1998) added 15 points and 5 rebounds respectively for lost side. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Manly Warringah Sea Eagles at the other side dropped to the second place with one game lost.
