There was an upset in Pasadena where much higher ranked Bearcats (1-1) were defeated by leader Sabres (1-0) 77-70 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Canadian forward Mikayla Williams (183, college: USF) who led her team to a victory scoring 15 points and 9 rebounds. Zoe Walker-Roberts helped adding 10 points and 5 rebounds. At the losing side American power forward Jennie Rintala (188-1990, college: S.Dakota St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 12 points, 12 rebounds and 5 assists and Sky Langenbrinck (-1991) scored 22 points. Bearcats' coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. Sabres left bottom position moving up to fourth place in League. Loser Bearcats dropped to the sixth position with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
