Regular Season Round 7: S.Peninsula - Hume City B. 58-48

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Dromana where 7th ranked Hume City Broncos (1-4) were defeated by eighth ranked Sharks (1-4) 58-48 on Saturday. It was a great evening for Tanarly Hood who led her team to a victory scoring 16 points and 6 rebounds. Asia Glenn helped adding 12 points and 11 rebounds. At the losing side American forward Briana Gray (178, college: Weber St.) responded with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 rebounds and Samoan center Harmony Harder (190-2003) scored 8 points and 5 rebounds. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Sharks left bottom position moving up to seventh place in League. Sharks will meet league's leader Boomers in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hume City Broncos will have a break next round.
