Regular Season Round 13: Albury W.B. - Inner WB 79-76

There was a change at the State League leadership position after last games. Round 13 most important game was a defeat of league's leader Bulls (4-2). They were edged by third ranked Bandits (4-2) 79-76 on Saturday night. It was a key game for the top position in League. Bandits forced 21 Bulls turnovers. American swingman Branden Jenkins (196-1994, college: TxWes) stepped up and scored 27 points and 7 steals for the winners and center Duom Dawam (208) chipped in 18 points and 10 rebounds. Jenkins is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. At the losing side center Johnny Crnogorac (216-1995, college: UTRGV, agency: Haylett Sports) responded with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds and naturalized South Sudanese forward Chier Maker (203-1995, college: Idaho St.) scored 14 points and 5 rebounds. Four Bulls players scored in double figures. Bulls' coach tried various players' combinations and tested in total twelve players in this game, but that didn't help. Bandits keep a position of League leader. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
