Regular Season Round 13: NW Tasmania - Kilsyth C. 73-100

There was no surprise in Ulverstone where 5th ranked NW Tasmania Thunder (2-1) was outplayed by second ranked Kilsyth Cobras (4-1) 100-73 on Saturday. Kilsyth Cobras shot 60.7 percent from the field. They shot the lights out from three sinking 13 long-distance shots on high 52.0 percentage. Adrian Tomada fired 16 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Swingman Corey Jeffs (203, college: Winona St.) chipped in 19 points. American forward Kavaughn Scott (201-1998, college: Loyola, MD) produced 18 points and guard Sejr Deans (187-2003) added 14 points respectively for lost side. Five Kilsyth Cobras and four NW Tasmania Thunder players scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Despite that victory Kilsyth Cobras went down to third position (League) due to points difference. Loser NW Tasmania Thunder dropped to the seventh place with one game lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
